Context
I collaborated with master shoemaker Jeff Churchill and his talented Toronto-based team to scale up his studio for a project that wouldn’t have been possible otherwise. I supported pattern making, prototyping, and established a sourcing network in Mexico to produce and streamline ongoing orders. The project involved designing unique, adaptable Victorian boots for film and theatre, allowing in-house craftspeople to easily customize shaft height, reshape the fit, and dye the leather to suit different shows and actors. Shout-out to Jeff Churchill’s talented team—true masters of their craft.

Helped transform a small bespoke studio into a scalable production system — without losing the hand-crafted precision that made it special.

Worked side-by-side with manufacturing partners in Mexico to prototype, refine construction methods, and anticipate production challenges for highly specialized theatrical footwear.
